Theresa Bartsch

I help the organisation keep an overview and combine knowledge and resources. I also meet and monitor the rules of non-profit charitable organisations.

Theresa Bartsch - Office Management at Beyond Philanthropy

In her right hand role, Theresa takes care of all company processes. She is responsible for the office management, prepares the accounting and monthly bookkeeping. She is also in charge of the internal controlling and human resources. In addition, Theresa assists the team at research projects.

Before joining Beyond Philanthropy, Theresa gained practical experience working at the Evangelisches Johannesstift and GEBEWO – Soziale Dienste as both an intern and freelancer.

Theresa studied Public and Non-profit Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin). In her master thesis, Theresa investigated the correlations between employee satisfaction and forms of employment in a non-profit-organisation.

Theresa is currently on maternity leave.

Why did you choose to work for Beyond Philanthropy?

I was intrigued by the potential of combining social and professional engagement and decided to study Non-Profit Management and Public Governance. At Beyond Philanthropy, I use my academic background and contribute my knowledge toward social business for the common good.
