Lisa Born

In connection with my interdisciplinary position I am helping the organization by keeping all the internal organisational procedures going and coordinating them in the best possible way.  This way I am able to create a productive work environment for our team.

Eva Schneider

Since May 2017 Lisa helps our Beyond Philanthropy Team as an execute assistant. She is temporarily replacing Theresa Bartsch during her maternity leave. As the office manager, Lisa in in charge of all tasks regarding administrative and business related matters. Furthermore, she takes over the organisational controlling as well as the human resource management and is involved in our organisational development.

Before Lisa joined Beyond she gained practical experience in the area of event management at the FASHIONCLASH foundation in Maastricht as well as in the area of project coordination at the X Filme Creative Pool GmbH in Berlin.

Lisa studied International Management in Worms and Budapest as well as Non-profit Management and Public Governance in Berlin and Paris For her master thesis she concentrated on the sustainable financing of cultural institutions based on fundraising.

Why did you choose working for Beyond Philanthropy?

After my master’s degree in Non-profit management I see Beyond Philanthropy as a great opportunity to continue my work in an organisation which connects the three main society sectors in a unique way and therefore sets trends for social change.

What is a random fact
about you?

During a four days hiking trip in the Peruvian Cordillera Blanka for the first time in my life I climbed up to 4.750 m. Although the regular passing by of our fully loaded donkeys half way was frustrating, the view was worth all the trouble.
