Konstantin Schottenhamel

During my internship I will explore the various aspects of Beyond Philanthropy’s consulting services. I am looking forward to expand my skillset and to support the team on its impactful journey.

Konstantin will join our team as an intern for his three months study summer break 2017. He will support our consulting activities and gain a comprehensive insight into Beyond Philanthropy's work and organizational development.

Konstantin studied history and economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and is now graduating in Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance with a concentration in Management and Organisation.

Why did you choose working for Beyond Philanthropy?

Beyond Philanthropy is the ideal choice to combine my idealism and my interest for effective and sustainable social change. I am convinced that the responsibility for social change does not restrict itself to the public sector. This belief, and the interesting consulting approach of Beyond Philanthropy – connecting analysis, strategic development and project implementation – motivated me to join Beyond Philanthropy for an internship.

What is a random fact
about you?

According to our family tradition, I was raised in a beer tent at the Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, little time was left for drinking beer – work always came first.
