Eva Schneider - Analyst at Beyond Philanthropy

Eva joined our team as a working student at the beginning of September 2018. She already gained insights into our work during her internship in 2017. Her responsibilities include comprehensive research and analyses on a wide range of topics.

Prior to joining Beyond Philanthropy, Eva worked at communication consultancies, focusing on crisis communication and public affairs. Furthermore, she gained experiences in the art world and the cultural sector in both Germany and South Africa.

Eva studied Comparative Literature and Political Science at the Freie Universität of Berlin and the Università degli Studi di Verona. Since 2016, Eva is part of the interdisciplinary Master’s program European Studies at Europa-Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt Oder, during which she conducts research on the legal, cultural, economic and political aspects of Europe. Currently, Eva writes her master’s thesis on populism.

Why did you choose to work for Beyond Philanthropy?

I’m curious to explore how Beyond Philanthropy enables its clients to create meaningful social impact for example by linking entrepreneurial strategies and societal engagement.

I love strolling along the streets and parks of Berlin.
