Building on its long history as a globally active Corporate Citizen, Siemens wanted to further sharpen its Corporate Citizenship activities and raise its engagement to a new level to drive social innovation.
Jointly with Beyond Philanthropy and goetzpartners, Siemens developed a set of strategic Corporate Citizenship options, all of which are in line with the new United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a result, innovative and scalable solutions in technology and education are a particular area of focus.
A key element of Siemens’ Corporate Citizenship strategy will be to grow its global corporate volunteering programme to help drive and scale projects around the world.
